Give yourself a treat (Day 20 of #24DaysofGiving)

sugarplum fairyAre visions of sugarplums dancing in your head? As I write this, my daughter is dancing joyfully in the kitchen to Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker Suite,” her enthusiasm no doubt fueled by some treats from her classroom holiday party earlier today.

Celebrate the magic and sweetness of this season with a treat, something to warm and lift your spirit. It can be a healthy treat of fruit or something truly indulgent, but enjoy it as a child would, with complete delight and abandon.

And if the spirit within moves you, dance!

Feel free to share your experience or your creative suggestions. If you’re on Twitter or Instagram, share using the #24daysofgiving hashtag. Let’s spread some love and good cheer!
